Anyone can be a victim of domestic abuse – man, woman, adult or child.
Both men and women can be perpetrators.
People often hide domestic abuse because they are scared, embarrassed, think there is no way out or feel isolated and alone.
Cleveland Police is here for anyone who is being abused, is hurt or scared and needs some help. We will listen, provide specialist support, investigate your case thoroughly, and make sure you are safeguarded.
