Earlier this week following Greater Eston NPT’s disruption over the past 12 months of a number of large-scale cannabis farms (with an estimated combined total value of over £1million), detectives from Redcar CID held a day of action with four properties being searched.
A number of people were arrested in connection with the earlier raids; a 31-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man were interviewed and bailed, and a 32-year-old man was charged and remanded.
Enquiries are underway to trace other suspects.
On Tuesday (12th December) a 38-year-old man, and two women, 31 and 52, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class B drugs, conspiracy to produce Class B drugs and money laundering.
Officers recovered a firearm, drug paraphernalia and cash that day and the three were questioned then released on bail while enquiries continue.
