Police are appealing after a 16-year-old boy was assaulted by three male suspects in Eston.
The incident happened around 8:50pm on Tuesday 7th February as the victim walked along Highfield Road along with another two boys.
The group were approached by three male suspects, one of whom made threats with what is believed to be a weapon and forced the 16-year-old to the floor before hitting him to the head.
The three suspects, who are described as young, white males and all dressed in dark clothing – one riding a mountain bike, all then made off towards Eston Square.
No serious injuries were suffered, however, the 16-year-old boy attended hospital with head and facial injuries and was released following treatment.
