Detectives from Middlesbrough CID are appealing for witnesses to a store robbery, including anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam.
At approximately 7.45pm last night, Monday 13th February, two males went into Welcome Stores on Cumberland Road.
One was wearing navy blue tracksuit bottoms with Adidas printed along the upper leg area, a dark Bench logo jacket, black balaclava and black trainers which had red along their edges.
The second suspect is described as wearing a yellow high-vis coat, black joggers and white trainers with a black rim around their edges. This male had his face concealed by a red face covering.
They were both armed with large kitchen knives and threatened the male member of staff, demanding cash and cigarettes, however they fled empty handed when the alarm was raised.
