Police are appealing for witnesses or information after a man was assaulted in Delhi Lounge restaurant on Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough.
The incident happened around 8:15pm on Friday 24th February when a 53-year-old man suffered head injuries in an assault and was taken to hospital for treatment before later being discharged.
A 55-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and he remains on bail with conditions, whilst enquiries continue.
Officers believe there were other people in the restaurant at the time who may have witnessed the incident.
