Police are appealing for information including dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage after a collision in Stockton yesterday (12.55pm on Thursday 12th January).
A woman in her late 70s reported that she was approaching her vehicle, which was parked on Hartburn Lane, when she was struck by an unknown male on what’s described as an “E-bike”.
The male then left the scene, however it is not known in which direction he went.
The lady fell to the ground and sustained serious internal and head injuries.
She remains in James Cook University Hospital undergoing treatment.
We would appeal for any witnesses or anyone who may have footage of the incident (as well as the E-bike in the moments beforehand) to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number, quoting ref SE23006877.
If you don’t want to speak to police, you could pass information anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers online at https://orlo.uk/qq3ml or by phoning them on 0800 555 111.
