Appeal after teenage girl robbed

Police are appealing for information and CCTV footage after a 14-year-old girl was robbed whilst walking along Finchale Avenue in Billingham.

The incident happened at around 8.10am on Monday 9th January when the girl was approached by a man on a bike who grabbed her iPhone 11 pro max before making off with the phone.

The suspect is believed to be around 17-years-old and has been described as white.

It is believed the suspect was wearing a dark blue top, grey trousers, a grey Canada Goose-style coat, and a balaclava.
