Police are appealing for information and CCTV footage after a 67-year-old man was robbed in Redcar.
The incident occurred at around 10am on Monday 23rd January when the man was walking in the vicinity of a playpark and open ground near to Micklow Close.
It is believed the man was approached by three teenage boys one of which was riding a motorbike that has been described as an off-road style bike.
The bike was used to push the man to the floor before the suspects demanded him hand over his money.
The suspects stole a quantity of cash from the man before making off from the scene.
Thankfully, the man did not sustain any physical injuries but he has been left shaken by the incident.
