Officers boarded up a property in Stockton following reports of antisocial behaviour and suspected drug dealing at the address.
Stockton Neighbourhood Policing Team attended the address on Tilery Way on Monday 9th January along with local housing developer, Thirteen.
The team acted on intelligence from the local community with residents reporting a number of issues at the address.
Together with Thirteen, officers boarded up the property to prevent any further criminal activity from taking place at the address and improve the quality of life for those living nearby.
Inspector Matt Reeves from the Stockton Neighbourhood Team said: “We will always listen to concerns raised to us by those residents who are impacted by tenants’ disruptive behaviour in our community.
“Antisocial behaviour or criminality in any form will not be tolerated and this was quickly dealt with to help improve the lives of those living nearby.
“This is a fantastic example of great partnership work between the Force and Thirteen and we will continue to work together to tackle any suspected drug activity in the community.”
