Roads Policing officers are appealing for witnesses to a collision on Lanehouse Road in Thornaby, after a 7-year-old girl was hit by a car and left seriously injured.
Shortly before 4:45pm on Monday evening 3rd July, the collision involving a black Nissan Juke, a Vauxhall Zafira and the 7-year-old pedestrian, left the little girl with head injuries.
The girl was taken to James Cook University Hospital and admitted for treatment.
Officers are asking witnesses, and anyone with dashcam footage or doorbell camera footage to get in touch by calling 101, quoting reference number SE23130311.
