Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage after a collision on the A689 towards Hartlepool.
The incident happened around 5:35am this morning, Thursday 20th July, on the A689 Eastbound near to the ‘welcome to Hartlepool’ sign.
A Ford Focus collided with the sign, leaving the male driver, aged 35, with an injury to his leg. He was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees for treatment.
Any witnesses to the collision or anyone with dash cam footage, is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting incident number 142856.
