Fourteen officers completed their initial drone training on Thursday 13th July, passing their theory and practical elements of the General Vocational Course (GVC).
The additional officers trained will now bring their skills to more teams across the Force including Response, Neighbourhoods, Operational Support Unit and the Force Proactive Team.
Cleveland Police uses drones on a daily basis and they play a key role in missing person and concern for safety enquiries as well as in pre-planned operations such as Operation Endurance - for off-road bikes.
There are now 11 drones in the Force fleet and 26 current drone licensed pilots, with 14 new additions being trained yesterday.
