At 3pm yesterday (Monday 10th July) police attended a report of a male acting suspiciously in Laycock Park in Middlesbrough.
After a brief foot pursuit, a 19-year-old man was detained and searched. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs after suspected crack cocaine and a large amount of cash was discovered.
The man was interviewed and charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs then remanded to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court later today.
