Officers from the Proactive Team alongside officers from the intelligence unit attended an address in the Whernside Crescent area of Ingleby Barwick on Tuesday 11th July.
On entering the address, they discovered and dismantled a cannabis farm, believed to be worth up to £100,000.
The address was unoccupied at the time however enquiries are currently ongoing.
Sergeant Darren Williamson said: “This is another example of our community and intelligence unit coming together to disrupt organised criminal activity.
“We will continue to act on any information provided by members of the public and disrupt those involved in criminal activity as much as possible and place them before the courts.”
