A 3-year-old boy was knocked to the ground by a teenager riding an electric bike on Tedder Avenue at 3.30pm this afternoon, Monday 10th July.
The toddler and his mother were crossing with the lollipop lady, near to Christ the King Scool, when a teenager wearing all black clothing, continued to ride over the crossing and knocked the toddler to the ground.
He was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees to be checked over and for an x-ray on his arm.
The teenager did not stop at the scene of the incident and officers would ask for any witnesses, or anyone with information to call 101 quoting reference SE23135619.
