Officers executed a drugs warrant at an address on Brignall Road in Stockton this morning following information from the community.
On entering the address, officers recovered a quantity of Class A drugs, believed to be cocaine, two machetes and drug related paraphernalia.
A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and a 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
They are currently in police custody awaiting interviews.
PC Crockett said: “We hope this assures the public that we will listen to their concerns and will act on any intelligence provided to us.
