Roads Policing Special Constables seized a vehicle and identified a number of offences during patrols as part of Antisocial Behaviour Awareness Week.
On Wednesday evening, 5th July, Special Constabulary Roads Policing Units were on the lookout for drivers causing antisocial behaviour or driving carelessly in and around Teesside Park and Cineworld car parks, where car enthusiasts sometimes meet in large numbers.
The vast majority of those people meet to socialise, however, there can be a minority who can be found to be driving in a manner which may cause concern.
One vehicle was seized after a second warning was issued to the same driver within 12 months regarding antisocial driving.
Enforcement action was taken in relation to a variety of offences including driving without due care and attention, an illegal tyre and contravening a red traffic light signal. Six traffic offence reports were issued in total.
A second warning was issued for antisocial driving, which was a first warning for the driver involved.
