Officers are appealing after a burglary at the home of an elderly woman during the hours of darkness.
The incident happened on Friday 16th June into Saturday 17th June on Dunsley Court, Guisborough.
The woman awoke on Saturday morning to find her property had been broken into overnight and items stolen whilst she had been asleep, including a quantity of cash and a small black purse containing bank cards.
Anyone who may have information or any CCTV in the area of Dunsley Court is asked to contact Redcar and Cleveland CID on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 117390.
