A 29-year-old man is currently in custody after an incident in Lazenby last night (Thursday 22nd June).
At approximately 11.15pm a 59-year-old sustained serious injuries following an assault on Pasture Lane.
He was taken to hospital but has since been released.
The 29-year-old was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding, making threats to kill, criminal damage and common assault.
Detectives investigating the incident are appeal for information including any doorbell, dashcam or CCTV footage from the Grange Estate and Pasture Lane around the time which may have captured the incident.
