Officers from Stockton’s Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) carried out a stop search of a man on Vulcan Way in Thornaby on Monday afternoon following information from the public.
Following the stop search, officers seized a quantity of Class A drugs, believed to be cocaine and heroin, as well as phones and cash.
A search of a property also led officers to locate and seize further Class A drugs, believed to be heroin.
A 34-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and he has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
