A man has been arrested after officers from Greater Eston and Guisborough Neighbourhood Policing Teams executed a drugs warrant at a property West Row, Eston, on Friday 30th June.
Officers seized a large quantity of cannabis from the address along with a significant amount of cash, weapons and firearms.
A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of criminal property.
He has been released on bail whilst further enquiries take place.
Inspector Ian Mitchell said: “On behalf of the Greater Eston Neighbourhood Team, I would like to extend my gratitude to the public for their invaluable support and cooperation in aiding us with crucial information that led to the successful recovery of drugs and cash. Your help played a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our community.
“We understand that coming forward with such information can sometimes be daunting, but your willingness to speak up demonstrates an unwavering commitment to keeping our neighbourhoods safe from the harmful effects of illegal substances.
“Our dedicated officers worked tirelessly, processing the provided information to conduct investigations, resulting in the seizure of these illicit drugs.
“Your support shows the huge impact we can create when we work together towards a common goal. We remain committed to acting on information and fostering strong relationships with all members of our community, as it is through these engagements that we can continue to make a positive difference.”
