Officers are appealing for witnesses and information after a 57-year-old man suffered a broken jaw in an incident in Saltburn.
The incident happened on Saturday 27th May around 11:50pm when the man was assaulted outside Sainsbury’s by another male, having just walked through the archway from Station Square.
The man underwent surgery to his broken jaw and is now recovering at home.
Officers believe the victim spoke with some women at a bus stop outside Boots chemist just before the incident and officers would like to speak to these women. They can get in touch with Cleveland Police by calling 101 and quoting reference number 102431.
