Officers from Guisborough and Eston Neighbourhood Policing Teams along with detectives from the Complex Exploitation Team have today (21st June) executed two drug warrants on Cleveland Street in Guisborough.
A quantity of Class A drugs, Class C drugs, a firearm, ammunition, bladed weapons and suspected stolen property were recovered from both addresses.
A 50-year-old woman has since been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. She remains in police custody.
Officers are currently working to identify the owners of the suspected stolen items.
Sergeant Smith, from the Neighbourhood Policing Team, said “These warrants have been executed following information received from members of the public.
“Please be reassured that we are aware of community concerns regarding crime in Guisborough and we are working hard to bring offenders to justice and to prevent criminality in the first place.
“Executing warrants such as these are just one tool in our arsenal and we will continue to disrupt those who cause harm to the residents of Guisborough.”
