Safeguarding Awareness Week ends today (12th June) and we’ve been reminding our communities that it’s everyone’s responsibility to keep children safe, whether in person or while they are online.
Protecting vulnerable children is a key priority for Cleveland Police and we have specially trained officers who will always conduct a thorough and professional investigation with the victim, family and carers’ welfare at the heart of all enquiries.
More information on keeping children safe and how to report abuse is available on our website here:

We'd therefore urge anyone with concerns about a child’s safety to contact us at any time via the 101 number.
