We’re appealing for information/dashcam footage after a teenager suffered a fractured elbow and multiple cuts and bruises after being struck by an unknown vehicle.
It happened at around 2pm on Sunday (11th June) as the 13-year-old boy was walking on Flatts Lane near its junction with Hollywalk Avenue and was crossing the road.
The vehicle did not stop at the scene however it’s believed it was travelling south on Flatts Lane.
The boy received hospital treatment for his injuries.
We would appeal for anyone who was in the area and has information which can identify the vehicle and driver involved to get in touch - as well as anyone who saw the vehicle before and after the collision.
Please contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number, quoting ref 112726.
If you have information but don’t want to speak to police, you can pass it anonymously to www.crimestoppers-uk.org or you can phone them on 0800 555 111.
