Officers arrested two people and seized suspected drugs in Albert Park, Middlesbrough, after stop searches were carried out.
Neighbourhood policing officers carrying out patrols in the park came across a group of males who were believed to be acting suspiciously.
On searching the men, the officers recovered cash, mobile phones, suspected heroin and crack cocaine and prescription medication.
A 24-year-old man was arrested and has since been charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession of criminal property.The man will appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Thursday 15th June.
A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class C drugs and possession of class A drugs. He was bailed whilst enquiries continue.
