A 38-year-old man has been charged with theft from motor vehicle after being arrested early this morning (Friday 6th October).
Redcar neighbourhood police team officers had been investigating a report of an overnight theft in September of theft of specialist photography and studio equipment from a parked vehicle.
Some of the alleged stolen property was recovered and will be returned.
The man was interviewed today and charged before being released on conditional bail.
He is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court later this month.
