A 29-year-old man who officers wanted to speak to in connection with a number of offences was arrested at a regional airport yesterday evening.
He was interviewed regarding several reports of common assault and aggravated bodily harm, an allegation of witness intimidation and a report of coercive and controlling behaviour.
The man was charged in connection with all these offences, which are alleged to have taken place since July this year, and attended Teesside Magistrates’ Court today.
He was remanded until his next appearance in mid-November.
