A man has been arrested after two officers were assaulted at an address in North Ormesby.
Officers attended an address in the North Ormesby area after a call for assistance around 4am today, Thursday 18th May.
Whilst at the address, a male reportedly became aggressive and one officer was bitten by a male, whilst another officer suffered a leg injury. Neither required hospital treatment.
During the incident, officers located and seized a number of bags of suspected cannabis.
A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of assault on an emergency worker, common assault, criminal damage and possession with intent to supply class B drugs. He remains in police custody at this time.
