Officers from Stockton CID have charged a man aged 42 with burglary dwelling with intent to steal and he appeared at court last week.
The charge was made in connection with a burglary at the Church Vicarage on Lanehouse Road in Thornaby in March.
Damage was reportedly caused to the property and the front of a gas fire, four sinks (from kitchen, bathroom, utility and bedroom) were stolen as well as underfloor pipes.
