Police are appealing for witnesses, dashcam footage or doorbell footage after a car was driven through a garden wall on Tithebarn Road in Stockton, at 9:40pm last night.
The Renault Twingo was stolen from Cocken Road, before crashing into the garden wall causing damage.
A male described as being in his late teens or early twenties and wearing a cream coat, fled the scene. He was limping and may have been injured in the crash.
We would urge him to come forward as he may require medical attention.
Anyone with information, or who knows who this male is, should call 101 quoting SE23226917.
