Cleveland Police is appealing for information and witnesses following an attempted robbery in Billingham.
The incident occurred between 6.09pm and 6.20pm on Thursday 23rd November when the victim was walking along Pentland Avenue near Dawson House in Billingham.
As she was walking, two young males approached the victim on a pedal bike and tried to steal her phone.
The victim put her phone into her coat and the suspects pushed the victim to try and get the phone off her but left empty-handed.
Thankfully, the victim was not harmed but she was extremely shaken by the incident.
The suspects have been described as young males who were around 5ft 6/7inches tall and wearing all-black clothing.
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV footage around the area of Pentland Avenue and Dawson House to get in touch on 101 quoting reference number 232032.
