Appeal following serious collision in Eston

Cleveland Police is appealing for information following a serious two-vehicle collision in Eston.

The collision occurred on Eston High Street at the junction with Birchington Avenue shortly after 3pm on Wednesday 15^th November and involved a white Mercedes and a white Renault van.

The female driver of the Mercedes suffered life-threatening injuries to her head and pelvis, and she was taken to James Cook University Hospital. The driver of the Renault suffered minor injuries.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnesses the collision or anyone with any relevant dashcam footage to contact Cleveland Police on 101.
