Two men have been identified but officers are still appealing to identify the man in the images below after a report of an aggravated burglary in Middlesbrough.
The incident happened on Clifton Street on Saturday 23rd September just after 12pm (midday).
Officers wish to identify the man in the images as he may be able to assist with their enquiries.
A woman in her forties answered the door to three men wearing balaclavas and face coverings, who then entered the address with a hammer and pickaxe. They took a mobile phone from the woman and whilst one man stayed with her, the others went upstairs.
Following another knock at the door, the three men left the house and ran onto Portman Street, taking with them the mobile phone and some prescription medication.
Anyone who may know the identity of the man in the images is asked to contact Middlesbrough CID on 101, quoting incident number 190571.
Independent charity Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling 0800 555 111.
