Officers from the Proactive Team have located and seized a cannabis farm in Middlesbrough with an estimated value of £40,000.
After the police drone identified an unusual heat source, officers attended an address on Princes Road in Newport on Thursday 30th November and found 48 cannabis plants along with equipment.
The electricity had been bypassed and the property was made safe by colleagues from the electricity board.
Nobody was present at the address and enquiries are currently ongoing.
