Officers from Greater Eston Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) led a proactive operation in South Bank last week.
They were supported by colleagues from the Force Proactive Team and CPSOU (Cleveland Police Specialist Operations Unit).
They seized around 975 cannabis plants with an estimated potential street value of more than £800, 000 and associated drug production equipment from an address on Bessemer Court.
A 37-year-old man was arrested the following day and subsequently charged with being concerned in the production of a Class B drug (cannabis).
He attended Teesside Magistrates’ Court on 16th November and enquiries are ongoing.
And as part of the same operation a farm quad bike and a standard quad bike – both suspected to have been stolen - were recovered in Bevanlee Road by officers including PCs Henman, Young, Mayo and Marshall.
Enquiries are ongoing.
