A 20-year-old man has been arrested after being searched and suspected drugs and a knife were located.
The man was stopped on Linthorpe Road in Middlesbrough around 11:20am today, Friday 10th November, after reports of a male behaving suspiciously.
A search led to the recovery of suspected drugs and a knife and he was arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article.
He remains in police custody at this time.
