A man has been charged and two others bailed after a drugs warrant was carried out in Middlesbrough.
Officers from the Proactive Team along with Middlesbrough Neighbourhood Team and the Operational Support Unit carried out the warrant on Coltman Street in North Ormesby.
A 37-year-old man was charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs and two others, a 58-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman were bailed in connection with drugs offences after the warrant was carried out on Friday afternoon, 3rd November.
The man was due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court on Saturday 4th November.
Officers carried out the warrant after concerns were raised by the local community in relation to drugs activity.
Acting Sergeant Ben Wood from Middlesbrough Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Middlesbrough Neighbourhood Policing Team has come together with the Proactive Team and Operational Support Unit to act on concerns raised by the local community.
“We would encourage members of the public to report information regarding suspected drugs activity to police and we will do everything we can to take action on anyone who feeds dangerous drugs into our communities.”
