Officers support important retail initiative, Stockton

Earlier today Stockton neighbourhood officers met with retail staff, the mayor, and USDAW reps at a Freedom from Fear event at Sainsburys, Whitehouse Farm– where they were saddened to hear about increasing verbal and physical abuse of shop workers.

We offered advice on what to do if they’re unlucky enough to be affected.

This is important issue and police won’t tolerate abuse of any kind against people who are simply doing their job!
