Cleveland Police is aware of planned, peaceful protest activity today, Sunday 5 November, in Middlesbrough Town Centre.
We have been working with the organisers and the local authority to plan the police response and we want to reassure our communities that Cleveland Police officers are attending to facilitate the peaceful protest, rather than because there is a known risk of disorder.
You will see our officers out and about in the area, who are all there to keep disruption to the local community to a minimum and ensure everyone’s safety.
If you have any information or concerns about crime or antisocial behaviour in your area please call us on 101.
