Two men have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences in Middlesbrough.
On Tuesday 21st November, Proactive Team officers noticed a male acting suspiciously in the Clough Close area. He was detained on Chipchase Road, where he resisted officers and bags of suspected cocaine fell onto the floor during a struggle.
The man was searched and a mobile phone was also recovered alongside the suspected drugs.
The 22-year-old man was arrested and taken to custody on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and later bailed whilst enquiries continue.
On Wednesday afternoon (22nd November), officers proactively patrolling the area of Albert Park witnessed a suspected drug deal and quickly apprehended a 17-year-old male.
A search of the male recovered suspected cannabis and cocaine and he was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs.
The man has now been bailed whilst enquiries continue.
