Police are reminding members of the public to be vigilant after an incident at parcel collection lockers in Middlesbrough.
The incident happened around 4:40pm on Sunday 26th November when males targeted a driver at the Amazon collection lockers in the car park area of the Lingfield Pub in Coulby Newham.
The suspects reportedly attempted to get into the vehicle and removed the keys, however, they then fled from the scene once police were called.
A number of males made off in the direction of Kings Academy and police followed.
A 14-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle and was bailed whilst enquiries continue.
Officers would like to remind people to be vigilant when collecting parcels and ensure that vehicle engines are not left running.
Any witnesses or anyone who may have information regarding the incident are asked to call Cleveland Police on 101, quoting incident number 233800.
