Detectives from Stockton CID are investigating an incident in Somerset Road, Norton at the weekend in which a 16-year-old boy sustained injuries consistent with being stabbed.
It is believed to have happened some time after 4am on Saturday 14th October.
The victim received hospital treatment and was later released.
Two males (14 and 19) were detained shortly afterwards in a nearby address and arrested on suspicion of assault.
They were interviewed and released on bail pending further enquiries.
Anyone with information, doorbell, dashcam or CCTV footage is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number quoting ref 204897.
