Appeal after Man Stabbed

Officers are appealing after an assault in Middlesbrough by a group of males.

The incident happened on Cambridge Road around 10:40pm on Thursday 5^th October when a group of six males were involved in an altercation with a 20-year-old man, who suffered two stab wounds to his back.

The victim was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he received treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. He has been bailed whilst enquiries continue.
