Officers are appealing after an assault in Middlesbrough by a group of males.
The incident happened on Cambridge Road around 10:40pm on Thursday 5th October when a group of six males were involved in an altercation with a 20-year-old man, who suffered two stab wounds to his back.
The victim was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he received treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. He has been bailed whilst enquiries continue.
Any witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam footage or CCTV which may assist police is asked to contact Detective Constable Yasmeen Hussain from Middlesbrough CID on 101, quoting ref 198934.
