A householder contacted police shortly before midnight on Sunday 22nd October, reporting an unknown male was inside their house on Kilburn Road, Hartburn.
The male, described as wearing dark clothing and with his face covered, had not made any threat to the occupants and he’d left with an amount of cash and some keys when officers attended.
Scene of crime officers were requested to attend the scene and enquiries are ongoing.
We would appeal for anyone with doorbell, dashcam or cctv footage from the area from around 11pm on Sunday 22nd October into the early hours of Monday 23rd October as well as anyone else with information, to get in touch via the 101 number, quoting ref 210798.
If you don’t want to speak to police you can pass information anonymously to www.crimestoppers-uk.org or phone them on 0800 555 111.
