A man has been arrested after a vehicle stop led to the recovery of drugs in Middlesbrough.
Around 3pm on Thursday 12th October, officers spotted suspected drugs activity. A Vauxhall Corsa was followed to Eastbourne shops, where the police found wraps of suspected crack cocaine and heroin on the drivers’ lap. He was also found in possession of cash.
A property search linked to the man located drugs paraphernalia and a small quantity of suspected drugs.
A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and possession with intent to supply class A drugs. He has been bailed whilst enquiries continue.
