Officers are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with CCTV to come forward after two incidents of arson in Hartlepool.
The first incident happened around 10.15pm on Tuesday 12th September on Harrow Street when a property had a window smashed and a small amount of fire damage was found.
An 18-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and later bailed whilst enquiries continue.
The second incident happened around 1:30am this morning, Wednesday 13th September, on Cornwall Street. A small fire was caused by a flammable liquid which led to damage to a door frame. Two males on a motorbike were seen in the street around the time of the incident.
