Police are investigating a report of rape on a woman in her thirties which took place in the early hours of this morning, Saturday 30th September.
The incident is reported to have taken place at around 4:30am at Cannon Park in Middlesbrough.
The woman is currently being supported by specially trained police officers and enquiries continue to trace a male suspect who is described as a black male who spoke in a foreign language and was wearing a blue tracksuit.
Detectives investigating the incident would appeal to any witnesses or anyone with information who may have been in the area around the time the incident took place, to contact them on 101 quoting incident number 195101.
