Appeal following collision in Billingham

Police are appealing for witnesses and any information following a serious collision in Billingham.

The collision occurred on the Central Avenue/Cowpen Lane roundabout at around 6.40pm on Tuesday 12^th September.

It involved a black Vauxhall Astra and a moped.

The male moped driver suffered a fracture to his neck and he was treated at the University Hospital of North Tees overnight.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information or relevant dashcam footage to contact us on 101, quoting reference number 183191.
