Middlesbrough Neighbourhood Team assisted by Cleveland Police Operational Support Unit, the Dog Support Unit and the North East Regional Special Operations Unit (NERSOU) carried out a warrant at a commercial premises in Middlesbrough yesterday (Monday 11th September).
The warrant at a premises on Parliament Road in Middlesbrough, was carried out after concerns were raised by the local community that the premises was being used in drugs activity.
A small amount of cannabis was recovered and two men were arrested.
A 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of criminal property but was later released without charge.
A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of immigration offences and remains in police custody.
